I do not recommend substituting the creamed corn in this recipe. This will equal 1 1/2 cups of fresh corn. If you would like to use fresh corn kernels instead of canned corn kernels, you will need about two small ears of corn steamed, cooled, and carefully removed from the ear. Allow any leftovers to cool before storing in the refrigerator.

The holiday season will be here before we know it. It takes less than an hour to make from start to finish! This recipe is super easy too! You’ll only need basic ingredients like: canned corn (drained), creamed corn, butter (melted), sour cream, eggs, and spices. It has a buttery crisp crust on top similar to cornbread, and a moist creaminess in the middle. Therefore, this is a dish that you must have this coming holiday season since you will delight your guests without even knowing that it took you 8 minutes to prepare it.You’re going to love this corn casserole, because it’s the perfect balance of savory and sweet. This recipe is like the perfect combination of a corn pudding with its creamy consistency, but at the same time with the texture of a delicious corn bread, with its sweetness and buttery touch. It is so delicious that it has become one of my favorite dishes, both for its versatility and its ease of use, since with just one change, it can be turned from a side dish to a dessert.

#Corn casserole with jiffy mix and egg full#
This Cream Corn Casserole is warm, sweet, full of flavor and ready to make in a jiffy. That's why at this time of the year, the family brings out their best and most characteristic dishes, for example in my case, the holidays are not the same without my grandmother's Argentinean empanadas, my mother's apple salad or my aunt's store bought lasagna haha which is just so good. And in winter there is nothing better than having a comforting, warm and full of flavor dish. That after a long year, we have this space to enjoy and be thankful for what we have. One of my favorite celebrations is Thanksgiving, I feel it is the exact representation of what is to come winter, the holidays, love and family.
